My Top 8 Halloween Movies For October

I will never stop talking about my love for Fall or for Halloween. I guess that's what happens when you grow up in New England, one town over from Salem. It is crazy here this time of year but crazy in a good way. I've always loved watching Halloween movies, especially the Disney Channel ones. I'm sure I could come up with a very long list of my favorite movies that I want to watch and share with you all. But, here is a list of my top 8 Halloween movies for the October! I know it's the beginning of the month, but in my mind the whole month of October is reason enough to watch a Halloween movie. My Top 8 Halloween Movies For OctoberHocus Pocus | Everyone loves Hocus Pocus! This one will forever hold a special place in my Halloween filled heart not only because this movie is amazing but also because it was filmed in Salem and Marblehead. It's so fun to walk past the places where the movie was filmed!Halloweentown (1-4) | There are 4 Halloweentown movies - the original Halloweentown, Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge, Halloweentown High, and Return to Halloweentown. Sometimes when these types of movies continue to have sequels, they aren't always great. However, all of the Halloweentown movies are amazing. When I was younger (the first one came out when I was 4!), I always wanted to go to Halloweentown. While I know now that it's never going to happen, little me was all about getting my powers and hanging out in Halloweentown. The Haunted Mansion | This movie along with Tower of Terror are both movies that are based off of Disney attractions, that I've actually never been to. I still really enjoy the movies because they're scary in a fun way- they are for children after all! It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown | Seasonal Peanut's movies will never get old. I watch it whenever it's on TV, and I also still have it on VHS. This silly story definitely a must watch during October! The Conjuring | The Conjuring is a thriller that is based on a true story, which adds to the scary effect. The Hide and Clap game that the kids are playing with not only one another but also playing with paranormal beings in the house still freaks me out to this day.Insidious | Another terrifying movie which for some reason, I love. A little boy falls into a coma but is actually in a paranormal realm and they have to call in professionals to get him back. It definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat!Don't Look Under the Bed | When I was younger, this was scary...It's a Disney movie. A girl and her imaginary friend team up to take down the boogey man. It's a fun Halloween movie that will take you back to your childhood, and maybe (probably not) scare you a little bit. But, it will without a doubt get you in the Halloween spirit!Casper / Casper Meets Wendy | Casper is a classic. I don't even need to talk about these movies because I'm sure you already know how great they are. A friendly ghost is one character that will get you in the happy Halloween mind set! What are your favorite Halloween movies?

Bonus: IT is one of the scariest movies I've ever seen because I am absolutely terrified of clowns. If you're looking for a truly scary movie, check it out!
